Hi my name is Curtis Blanton. I have a degree in
design and illustration, but traded the suit and tie
for a ball cap and a paint brush. I've been
pinstriping and airbrushing for over 20 years now. I
always new this is what i wanted to do since i was
16. Tommy Willis, one of the best pinstripers
around pinstriped my 80 malibu when i was just 16
and it only took him 15 or so minutes. He turned to
me and said "that'll be 60 bucks. 60 bucks in 15
minutes! Oh yeah this was my calling. Not just for
the money but the passion of laying down some
sweet lines with a sword brush and to actually get
paid for it. So i went out and bought some 1 shot
and some macks and started my journey. I've done
alot over the years that I'm proud of and have met
alot of cool artists along the way like Craig Frazer,
MIke Lavalee, "The Hawiian, Ryno and more. Oh
by the way it's pronounced "joker" Grafix but
spelled "Jocur". My brothers name is Joe and I'm
Curt. So we took the last letter off both our names
and "wah-lah" JOCUR GRAFIX. He's a fine artist
with oil on canvas. I'll be adding a page of his work
shortly.
